Brown your stewing steak and then transfer to crock pot after draining. Cook onions in skillet, cooking until soft; add garlic, cinnamon and allspice and cook for 1 minute. Next, add vinegar, tomato sauce, sugar and bay leaf and stir well. Pour mixture over meat. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 4 to 5 hours. Add feta cheese, cover and cook on High for 10 minutes. Remove bay leaf and serve over hot pasta.

Place onion in your slow cooker. Place chicken, breast side up, over onion. Separate garlic into cloves, but don't peel cloves. Arrange garlic cloves around chicken. Cover slow cooker and cook on low 8 to 10 hours.

There are many people who need to be able to communicate no matter what. There are also a lot of people who just like to be able to talk to other people from just all over the country, but also all over the world. My solution came in the form of the tinnitus headphones noise cancelling Force X3 wireless gaming headset. With infrared receivers on either side of the headphones, it is fairly uncommon for your signal to be interrupted. I have also never noticed any lag in audio using these headphones.

This is another delightful venue and the only delicatessen in the resort. Although one shouldn't judge a restaurant on its specials, the specials are excellent choices. This cozy little restaurant provides delicious gourmet comfort food. Don't expect to eat and have room for dessert and be ready to chow down somewhere else. The dinners are substantial.

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood in Burbank and Pasadena offers a traditional Thanksgiving dinner - roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and cranberry sauce - along with its regular menu items. Cost: $18.95 for adults, $8.95 for children.

Here is a classic British recipe with an Asian twist. crockpot lamb shanks is one of many popular UK main course dishes. As the UK has become more multi cultural over the years, this specific dish has been infused with Indian (Asian) spices to give it that extra flavor.

This lamb curry can be served as a side dish or as a main meal. A side dish of brown and wild rice will yield a complete protein, when combined with the beans in the curry. A favorite of mine is to eat it with soft, warm Naan bread.

An easy way to prepare leg of lamb is rubbing with herbs. Use a 5-7 pound leg of lamb. Combine tablespoon dried parsley flakes, a teaspoon dried mint, a half teaspoon each of onion salt and crushed dried rosemary, a quarter teaspoon or pepper and 2 cloves of slivered garlic. There's a thin layer on the outer surface of the meat to remove and trim the fat from it. Combine the herbs and rub over the meat thoroughly. Place in a roasting pan and cook at 325F oven for 2-3 hours for medium (160F on a meat thermometer, or to 170F for well done. Let the leg of lamb rest for 15 minutes before carving.

On the way to the town of Golden, our next destination, we stopped to hike to Johnston Canyon, a worthwhile trek! The falls were splendid! The journey curried lamb took us less than an hour. It was a little crowded, even with the rain, but by the time we reached the falls, there were very few people around. On the road again, we encountered four majestically antlered elk!
